Mesquite Kitchen-Haak Designs

This kitchen was a long time in the making. The mesquite tree was harvested from the property where the house is built. The Tree was cut down, rough milled and the wood dried for a year before we were involved in the project. We stored the wood in our facility for almost another year before we started fabricating the cabinets. All of the cabinet interiors are maple frame and panel furniture style construction, with all of the cabinet interiors behind the seeded glass also made of mesquite. The drawers are all solid maple dovetailed with Blumotion undermount drawer glides. I had a tremendous helper in Hans Bu, a very good craftsman in pulling it all together in the end and getting the project completed. Kelley, the owner is thrilled with the way it all turned out, and everyone who sees the kitchen loves it!
